Air ways: The nearest airports are Trivandrum International Airport, Madurai National Airport and Tuticorin National Airport (TCR). The nearest railway station is in Tenkasi which is just 6 km from the ashram.

Train: From Chennai a direct train is available every day (Podhigai Express), alight at Tenkasi or at Shencottah. From Bangalore the 6732 Train (Mysore - Tuticorin Express) goes to Viruthunagar, from where the local Tenkasi Train (3 trains per day) can be taken. Bus: Buses from Madurai, Chennai, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Tirunelveli and other big tourist and industrial cities have direct connection to Tenkasi and Shencottah. SETC operates 1 Ultra Deluxe & 1 AC bus from Bangalore to Shencottah, 5 km from Ilanji. From Chennai, Nellai Express operates from Egmore to Tirunelveli. From Tirunelveli, plenty of buses are avilable to Tenkasi.
